What are the steps for Admission?
I believe my family member needs the care that you provide. What is the process for Admission? What do I do next?
First, have a discussion with your family member's primary care physician. The physician will identify and document your family member's specific care needs. Admission to any nursing home in North Carolina requires a doctor's written care order.
Second, call our Admissions Director to arrange a meeting and receive a tour of our community. Our Admissions Director can answer all the questions you may have about Long Term Care and the services we provide. We will be glad to show you our facility and introduce you to some of the people directly involved in caring for our residents.
Can we afford this?
In today's environment managing healthcare costs is everyone's concern - both patients and providers. One of the first questions many families ask when considering any kind of healthcare is whether or not they can afford the associated expenses.
For some of our residents, most of the expense is paid by Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance, with the family making a co-payment. Other families may pay for the expenses out-of-pocket. Usually, we see a combination with much of the expense being paid by a third-party and a co-payment paid by the family.
As a total healthcare provider, one of our key roles is resident advocacy. We are committed to ensuring that you receive all of your entitled healthcare benefits. We work closely with families to explore every possible reimbursement option, and accept payment from a variety of sources, including:

- Medicare Replacement
- Medicaid
- Private Insurance
- Private Payments
